Recently this week, the official opening of the NME Music Photography Awards With Nikon 2012 has been announced. All professional and amateur photographers in the UK are encouraged to participate and submit their entries right away. The entries will be judged by a panel of experts including a representative from Getty photo agency and the NME photo director Zoe Capstick.
All of the entries will be divided into categories including live, portrait, reportage, festivals, under 21, and professional. The subscribers, readers and users of NME and NME.com shall be asked to rate the entries and the result of votes shall be considered in judging the winning entries.
Of course the best part of the contest is the prizes which are some of the latest Nikon products. The winners of all categories shall be rewarded with a Nikon 1 J1 camera worth £319.99. The winner in the professional category will have a brand new Nikon D800 with 36.3 Megapixel and a 28-120mm f/4 lens. Now that is an amazing prize fit for a pro. Moreover, a Nikon 1 V1 and a 10-30mm lens shall be awarded to the winner in the professional outstanding contribution category.
More details are provided in their website, www.nme.com/photoawards2012.
