Photographers living in Harrow, United Kingdom are encouraged to participate in an online photography competition called “London’s Picture of Sustainability”. The main goal of the competition is to promote the greener side of Harrow through the photos of sustainable eco-projects around town. This includes volunteering schemes and other projects.
Nearby residents can start clicking away and prepare their entries for the following weeks before the deadline. All entries should be submitted by July 22 through Caydoo, the photography social network indicated by the organizers of the competition.
The finalists shall have their work displayed in a photo exhibit which will be held in central London by August. The winners will be announced on August 22. The prizes that await the winners include holiday trips around the UK. Budding photographers out there might just have their work discovered with the perks of winning a free vacation.
The panel of judges for the competition will be consisting of expert photographers and celebrities including Mick Williamson, the Head of Photography at London Metropolitan University. In addition, the radio DJ Neil Fox is also joining the panel judge the photo entries.
