It was May 3, 2012 when the Eastman Kodak Company formally announced that Pradeep Jotwani, President of the Consumer Business, Chief Marketing Officer, and Senior Vice President, will resign from the company and shall be effective on May 31 of the same year.
The company’s Chairman/CEO, Antonio M. Perez has expressed his gratitude towards Pradeep Jotwani who has helped the business in the several months of transformation under the circumstances. Kodak is still struggling with bankruptcy but they are dedicated to improve performance and remain strong in spite of everything they have been through.
If you could recall, Eastman Kodak Co. has declared bankruptcy a few months ago and decided to cease production of cameras in order to focus on printing services instead. This misfortune is the outcome of the company’s refusal to keep up with the new digital trends. However, the company would still cover the warranty of previous products sold.
Meanwhile, Laura Quatela, elected as President and Chief Operating Officer on January 1, 2012 shall take over the Consumer business and several functions in the company. She will be the one to assume direct responsibility for leading the Consumer Business. Hopefully things will be looking up soon for the company.
