Budget Saver: New Wireless Remote Control for Canon

Photography has an extended range of possibilities yet it requires quite a lot from the shooter.  Time, dedication and resources are the major requirements to start building this luxurious hobby or possible career.  The camera body and lenses are part of the essentials but accessories are also a big plus.  Some shooters would find a wireless remote such a big help especially in long exposure shots.  Nevertheless, it can also be expensive since first party wireless remotes do cost a lot.  Fortunately, there are other companies that produce accessories which can work effectively with your digital SLR cameras and sold at a cheaper rate.

A new gear hits the market which is the Satechi WTR-A Wireless Remote made to be functional for Canon digital SLR cameras.  Unlike the Canon LC-5 which is sold for $679, this new Satechi WTR-A impressively costs for only less than $60.  I guess this is such great news for all budget-conscious consumers out there.  If you are not brand-conscious and would like to experience the extra perks of having a wireless remote in handy then go ahead.

The Satechi WTR-A Wireless Remote is compatible with the following Canon DSLR units:

  • EOS 1V/1VHS
  • EOS 3
  • EOS D2000
  • EOS D30
  • EOS D60
  • EOS 1D
  • EOS 1Ds
  • EOS 1D (Mark II, III, IV)
  • EOS 1Ds (Mark II, III)
  • EOS 10D, 20D, 30D, 40D, 50D,
  • EOS 5D (5D Mark II)
  • EOS 7D
