In order to promote the best interests of the company, the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) in Singapore has announced a contest which calls out to all photographers. Participants are asked to prepare their cameras and start shooting at the top priorities of their company. The photo contest is open to everyone including amateur and professional photographers who belong in APEC’s 21 economies.
APEC managed to designate four themes for the contest which will serve as guides to what the photo entries should be about. The four themes are as follows:
- Trade and investment liberalization;
- Regional economic integration;
- Strengthening food security; and
- Intensive cooperation to foster innovative growth.
All of the mentioned themes reveal the major priorities of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation for the year 2012. The participating contestants are asked to submit their entries until August 1. A contestant can submit up to four original entries.
It would not be a surprised if the panel of judges would have a hard time since good photographers are everywhere. Not to mention that the advancement of technology has enhanced the ability of current shooters to produce high quality compositions.
For those interested to participate in the photo contest, you may submit an application together with your entries to contest@apec.org.
