Canon

A Japanese multinational corporation that manufactures imaging and optical products, Canon Inc. began its operations as early 1933. Now with over 198,000 employees, the company continues to grow in assets by producing high quality electronic products, in particular, the digital single-lens reflex cameras. Canon digital SLR reviews have so far been very favorable owing to the excellent craftsmanship found in every Canon product.

The EOS (Electro-Optical System) is Canon's innovative line of digital SLR cameras first introduced in 1987. It comes complete with all the support ranging from the EF (electro-focus) lens mount to the EOS flash system. Their digital SLR products are categorized into four segments targeted to a specific market. Entry-level models are characterized by a pentamirror viewfinder with cheaper plastic construction designed for beginners. Their midrange cameras incorporate the pentaprism viewfinder with magnesium alloy body. Finally, the high-end and flagship models are both full-frame digital SLR cameras. The latter, however, has better build and weathersealing features than the former.

Canon digital SLR reviews continue to promote the popularity of the product around the world. The company has truly set the standards for this industry by pioneering the integration of the latest innovative features such as high-definition video recording.
