We may not included the greatest Canon telephoto lens since we thought this lens is the best one for serious amateurs and hobbyists who uses a Canon 50D. This zoom is greatly recommended for shooting sports, wildlife and action. The shooter will definitely love to see how this lens works with bokeh. The auto focus is also supported effectively which brings out clarity and outstanding details in its compositions.

The weight of this lens may not be advisable for a long-day handheld shooting although the Image Stabilization feature does help a lot. The price ranges from $2,299 to $2,547.
